A 1930s tale set just outside the author's fictive stomping grounds of Fiddler, California, in which Claire, half of a Bonnie-and-Clyde couple, has a gun in one hand, and blood in the other. This chapbook went out of print immediately upon publication. Because there were so many requests to reprint, the story was later included in Subterranean Gallery.
