About the Book:

Firestarter follows Charlie McGee, a young girl born with pyrokinetic powers—she can start fires with her mind. Her abilities are the result of a government experiment involving her parents, conducted by a secret agency called The Shop. When The Shop tries to capture Charlie to use her as a weapon, she and her father, Andy, go on the run. As they are hunted, Charlie’s powers grow stronger and more dangerous. After her father's death and her own capture, Charlie unleashes her full abilities in a fiery act of revenge, determined to expose the truth and prevent further exploitation.
