Children of the Nameless

Subterranean Press is proud to present Brandon Sanderson's novella Children of the Nameless.

Acclaimed fantasy author Brandon Sanderson first published Children of the Nameless in 2018. A gift from Sanderson to fellow Magic: The Gathering fans, the short novel was released for free on the Wizards of the Coast website.

Now with the print debut, the story’s impact extends beyond the Magic community, as Child’s Play Charity will receive a portion of the proceeds from the novella. Children of the Nameless invites new and returning readers into the multiverse of Magic: The Gathering with a compelling tale of unlikely allies, empathy, and inner strength.

Limited Edition Dust Jacket Note Monday March 23:

The dust jackets have been very prone to smudging, and that isn't how we want to present Brandon's work. We are going to have our printer redo the dust jackets.

We will also use this as an opportunity to upgrade the djs slightly and have two different types of finish on them, matte for the main, and gloss on the text.

Anyone whose copy of CotN has already shipped will be sent one of the new dust jackets, which we should have in hand in a few weeks. The copies that go on sale March 23rd will not be shipped until we have applied the new jackets.

The general preorder date for the Limited edition is March 23rd, 12pm EDT.

There will also be an unsigned hardcover edition of 5000 copies, which we will put up for sale in April. The books have been completed.
