Richard K. Morgan—Art for The Cold Commands Posted
We're currently doing the final file review for Richard K. Morgan's bloody epic fantasy, The Cold Commands, complete with swordplay, rude wit, a stellar cover by Vincent Chong, and differing front and back endsheets. You can get a look at the latter at the book's page. If that's not incentive enough to pick up a copy, it's also printed in two colors throughout, as befits such an imporant fantasy novel.
Library Journal had this to say about volume two of A Land Fit for Heroes: "Morgan brings a fresh approach to epic fantasy, giving his world a hard edge and blending in such sf elements as machine intelligences and extraterrestrial races…Morgan’s protagonists, with their tough outward demeanor and lofty ethics, lend depth and seriousness of purpose to high fantasy and should appeal to fans of George R.R. Martin’s 'Song of Ice and Fire” series.'
