Update 3/12: The first third of a new novelette by Jeff VanderMeer and Cat Rambo, “The Surgeon’s Tale,” has been posted. Look for parts two and three on Wednesday and Friday of this week. On Friday, we’ll also have a new interview with David Morrell, whose thrill-a-minute new novel, Scavenger, has just hit the shelves.

Update 3/7: All of Lucius Shepard’s novella Vacancy is now online. Enjoy, and look for a new short short story by R. Andrew Heidel tomorrow.

Update 3/2:
We’ve posted another two chapters to Lucius Shepard’s novella, Vacancy, which will run twelve chapters in all. The eagle-eyed among you will also note a new column by Elizabeth Bear, and a short sharp story (”Surveillance”) by none other than hisownself, Joe R. Lansdale. For future issues, we’ve just acquired stories by Caitlin R. Kiernan, Neal Barrett, Jr., and a collaborative novelette by Jeff VanderMeer and Cat Rambo.
