John Scalzi’s The God Engines, his first foray into fantasy continues to draw praise, this time from the Sacramento Book Review: “Scalzi somehow manages in a mere 136 pages to create believable, like-able characters who exist in a world that, while fantastic…is both wonderful and convincing.”
