We’re pleased to announce that the trade edition of our Jack Vance tribute anthology, Songs of the Dying Earth, ably edited by George R. R. Martin and Gardner Dozois, is now out of print. A number of customers have asked for a shipping date for the limited edition. We’ve ordered the slipcases for that edition, and expect to be shipping it in 4-6 weeks.

Booklist has just weighed in with its review of Jack’s autobiography, This is Me, Jack Vance!, which is also selling quite well: “One of the most distinguished American sf and fantasy writers here bids an eloquent farewell to his readers… Vance gives us a coda to his life that could have been twice as long without ever trying his readers’ patience.”

Finally, stock updates on two of our other Vance titles. The trade edition of The Jack Vance Reader is sold out, while fewer than 20 copies of the signed limited edition remain available, and his recent gathering of an alien handful of stories, Wild Thyme, Green Magic, is also selling very well, with fewer than 50 copies in our warehouse.
