Announced and Unannounced Books We’re Working On — New Neal Stephenson, George R. R. Martin and Greg Egan
2009 is shaping up to be one of the best years in SubPress history. In addition to some of the books we’ve already announced: The Other in the Mirror (Philip Jose Farmer); The City & the City (China Mieville); The Steel Remains (Richard K. Morgan); Drood and The Terror (Dan Simmons); and Seven for a Secret (Elizabeth Bear), we’re also working on books we haven’t even announced yet by the likes of Greg Egan (a new collection gathering 120,000 words of uncollected stories, just turned in today); a new Langdon St. Ives Adventure by James P. Blaylock; a long-overdue limited edition hardcover of Peter F. Hamilton’s landmark space opera, The Reality Dysfunction, the first-ever hardcover (a signed limited edition) of Zodiac by Neal Stephenson; two limited editions by George R. R. Martin (A Dance with Dragons and Dying of the Light). This is just a small taste of what we have going on. We haven’t even mentioned several books by New York Times Best-Sellers that are on our schedule. Please make sure you’re signed up for our email list, because some of the books will have small print runs (276 copies) and aren’t likely to last long.
