We’ve just received word that Dean Koontz will be gracing us with an appreciation for the Jack Vance Tribute Anthology, Songs of the Dying Earth, and, at a minimum, signing the lettered edition. We’ve written to him to see if his schedule will allow him to sign the limited as well, but won’t know that answer for several weeks.

Still, we’d like to extend our gratitude to Mr. Koontz for joining this project. With each step, from Tom Kidd’s wonderful art, to Dan Simmons turning in a 26,000 word novella, to the participation of SubPres favorites such as Robert Silverberg, Kage Baker and others, this has grown into a project for the ages. Our sincere thanks go out to editors George R. R. Martin and Gardner Dozois, as well as Ralph Vicinanza, who agented the deal, for bringing this gem our way.
