Subterranean Online — New James P. Blayock and a Healthy Dose of Steampunk
The Spring 2008 issue of Subterranean Online has kicked off in high style, with new stories by James P. Blaylock (a collaboration with Adriana Campoy), as well as tales by newer writers Ekaterina Sedia and Beth Bernobich. In an email, Beth described her story as an “SF, steampunkish, feminist, kind of yarn, with a high-atmosphere balloon escape and some explosions.” We’ll testify that it’s all that and more. If the fiction posted so far isn’t enough to tempt you, we also have a new interview with Sherrilyn Kenyon. Happy reading, and best of all, it’s FREE.
