We’ve just started the job of packing the orders for the debut novel by comics legend Warren Ellis. Crooked Little Vein is selling quite well, with approximately 430 of the 500 copies gone on publication. If you’re of a mind to pick up a copy, now’s a good time.

Also shipping, and doing quite well, is the definitive edition of Caitlin R. Kiernan’s debut collection, Tales of Pain and Wonder, with roughly 800 of the 1000 copy print run headed out the door. Don’t forget that by ordering direct from SubPress you also receive a 20k word chapbook of bonus material. Quantities on the latter are limited. We’ll pull the chapbook from the Tales page when it’s no longer available as a freebie.

In other news, four of our recently released titles have gone out of print shortly after publication: Golden Apples of the Sun (Ray Bradbury); Lye Street (Alan Campbell); The Lovecraft Chronicles (Peter Cannon); and The Voyage of the Proteus (Thomas Disch). We expect both the Ellis and Kiernan titles to follow suit before long.
