Production Updates — Kage Baker, Ray Bradbury, George R.R. Martin and Much More
A number of forthcoming titles are progressing very nicely:
– Or Else My Lady Keeps the Key (Kage Baker) — We just okayed the bluelines and cover proof for Kage’s short (184 pages) pirate novel, which should be printed in the next week.
– Hunter’s Run (George R.R. Martin, Gardner Dozois, Daniel Abraham) — We’ve approve the printed but unbound sheets for this title, which should be bound and ready for shipping in the next two weeks.
– Golden Apples of the Sun (Ray Bradbury) — The bluelines and cover proof for this one arrived in our office this past week and were just perfect, so look for it to be printed soon.
– His Majesty’s Dragon (Naomi Novik) — We’ve just approved the color inserts for HMD and are awaiting the cover proof and bluelines, likely to arrive in our offices next week.
– Snow Crash (Neal Stephenson) — This modern classic is nestled safely at our printer. We should be receiving materials to approve soon.
– Crooked Little Vein (Warren Ellis) — After a few delays with the signature pages, this one has just been sent to the printer, and, like Snow Crash, will be making its way quickly through the publication process.
