A Note from Ray Bradbury

As I’m sure you can understand we were absolutely stunned and delighted to receive the following note a few days ago. Folks, it’s moments like this that make all the hard work worthwhile.
Dear Bill:
The copies of your edition of FAREWELL SUMMER arrived today and when I opened it and saw it I wept. It’s absolutely beautiful. I’m so happy that you used the photos of the real court house, with its big clock, something that I saw every day from the time I was four. I was over thirty when they tore it all down, which was a terrible mistake. It was a wonderful Gothic structure.
God bless you for using it on the cover and inside the book. It’s a beautiful edition and I will give a few copies to my friends, and especially one to my dear friend, Isabel Skelton, who is Lisabell in the novel.
God bless and much thanks,
Ray

We’re down to the last five copies of the numbered edition of Farewell Summer, and the last seven of the lettered, the latter which includes everything in the numbered, plus full color endsheets and a chapbook of additional fiction not available anywhere else.
